Steve Davies Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Some Saudi prince is offering RSAF "pilots" (I guess that WSOs don't qualify) a Bentley each in return for their participation in the Yemen bombing campaign (which they have ended without having actually achieved their objectives). AFAIK, no caveat is in place about them actually having to have hit their targets. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/blogs-trending-32417773
StoleIt Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 And here I am at the Deid just wanting a crew van with working air conditioning... 9

Napoleon_Tanerite Posted April 27, 2015 Posted April 27, 2015 I bombed Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya and all I got was SAPR training. 3
pawnman Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 WSO's qualify for a gently used Yugo... But does the air conditioning work?
Scooter14 Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I bombed Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya and all I got was SAPR training. I'll give you the first two...but Libya wasn't actually a war so there was no way you could have actually bombed them.
Napoleon_Tanerite Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I'll give you the first two...but Libya wasn't actually a war so there was no way you could have actually bombed them. I take it you weren't there.... We did more kinetic business in Libya over the span of 5 months than we did over the preceding 5 years of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Scooter14 Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I take it you weren't there.... We did more kinetic business in Libya over the span of 5 months than we did over the preceding 5 years of Iraq and Afghanistan. Oh I was there. But I'm a Guard guy. My orders said it wasn't a war...and big Air Force knows best...so therefore it wasn't a war. I guess I don't post enough for my sarcasm to get picked up anymore.
pawnman Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 I take it you weren't there.... We did more kinetic business in Libya over the span of 5 months than we did over the preceding 5 years of Iraq and Afghanistan. Limited strikes, no boots on the ground. Or something.
SurelySerious Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 (edited) I'll give you the first two...but Libya wasn't actually a war so there was no way you could have actually bombed them. What is a war these days anyway? Edited April 28, 2015 by SurelySerious
HeloDude Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 What is a war these days anyway? That's easy...I learned it in my staff job. WAR: Weekly Activity Report 2
ThreeHoler Posted April 28, 2015 Posted April 28, 2015 That's easy...I learned it in my staff job. WAR: Weekly Activity Report Can't have a late weekly WAR report, you know. Very important stuff for the wing historian.

Napoleon_Tanerite Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Weekly WAR Report... Weekly "weekly activity report" report Is it built in the war room? Gotta make sure we are selective who is in there.... big board and all...

backseatdriver Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Weekly WAR Report... Weekly "weekly activity report" report Published by the Department of Redundancy Department
Cooter Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 Can't have a late weekly WAR report, you know. Very important stuff for the wing historian. I like how I have to justify my existence every week...and then see it not even get sent up because it wasn't "top level material." THEN STOP ASKING! T - 32 days of staff remaining... Cooter

tac airlifter Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 I take it you weren't there.... We did more kinetic business in Libya over the span of 5 months than we did over the preceding 5 years of Iraq and Afghanistan. Ehhh, not quite.
