Chida Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 I know we have to get a dental exam every year, and since I get my teeth cleaned twice a year with my civilian dentist, I have him fill out the exam form and I turn that in.When I first got into the ARC I thought I heard some doctor type tell us that we had to get examined by an *Air Force* dentist every 3 years. I might have heard wrong or he might have been wrong.Has anyone heard of or experienced this?
Chida Posted August 30, 2015 Author Posted August 30, 2015 I found the answer, sort of. It's written in the Dental Management Guide, accessible via the AFMS Knowledge Exchange. For AFRC it says: military dental exam required every 3 years. For ANG it says: "Air National Guard operations will be addressed in the next revision of the Dental Management Guide."
amcflyboy Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Yup, that checks. I know my base can't hold onto a Dentist to save their lives!
