polcat Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 (edited) Fortunately my prior squadron (61 AS) just returned from Afghanistan. Prayers and wishing it's not bad.Reports say twelve people, five of the dead were U.S. service members that were the crew of the aircraft, five were civilian contractors who were passengers, and two were local Afghan civilians who were killed on the ground. God bless. Edited October 1, 2015 by polcat 1
Loach Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Greta on Fox just reported 12 deaths associated with the crash: 5 crew, 5 US Contractors and 2 Afghan civilians.

discus Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Not one more U.S. Life to that goddamn shit hole. Please. No more. It takes healthy troops and money and only gives back heartbreak and broken families. RIP, brothers. Damn. 14
Warrior Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Crew of 5 makes me think it's a slick J with the tactics LT riding along. Anyone know if it's an AMC or AFSOC tail? 1
Warrior Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 It's not a Little Rock crew. You hope. I know little rock came home recently, but do they have any crews at the Deid or Saleem who might have headed north for a little deployed TDY?
polcat Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Little Rock is supporting AFRICOM out of two locations. No ops to the sandbox. 1 1

nunya Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 (edited) Have we narrowed it down to it must be a Dyess crew? Or was that picture only meant to represent a generic J? Edited October 2, 2015 by nunya
