Duck Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Active Duty question here. I was referred to an allergist over 2 hours away due to the town the base is in having none. Is there something about getting milage reimbursed for my weekly shot appointments? Thanks Bros.
Chida Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 File a dts local voucher, routing list thru your med grp. There's a med grp dts guy that can help you get that routing list and fund cite loaded into your dts if you don't already have it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 1
Tonka Posted February 7, 2016 Posted February 7, 2016 Some bases have told me that there is a minimum number of miles required for them to pay... I believed them, but probably shouldn't have. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 1
Robo Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 I believe it needs to be over 100 miles to qualify for reimbursement.
slc Posted February 10, 2016 Posted February 10, 2016 Related question, i'm a TR and have to go to a civilian opthamologist 1X per year for a small battery of specialized tests to renew a waiver (for annual physical). The tests usually run around $240 (my private insurance pays about 1/2). Should I be getting reimbursed for these tests etc.? Thanks for any info
