flyeagle Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 This is pretty messed up. Just found out an old classmate lied on his resume. He is a civilian pilot who listed he had a bachelors degree on his resume, but in fact did not. The guy got hired by a major. How does he fricken sleep at night? Thankful for him, only a few people know about this.
Magellan Posted April 4, 2016 Posted April 4, 2016 Never lie around pilots. If we don't police ourselves who will. You may have just pulled a pin on a grenade. Exhibit A

TreeA10 Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 He may sleep well assuming he doesn't have anyone in his past that he has pissed on/off. I know of a dude flying for UAL that was hired after checking "NO" to accidents and incidents. He really pissed on his Reserve unit in general and a couple individuals in particular, was declared persona non grata by the squadron (they even changed the door codes), and someone dropped a dime on him informing UAL of his less than accurate application thus getting him fired from UAL. 1
guineapigfury Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 If a dude is dumb enough to lie about something as easily verifiable as graduating college, he's going to get caught at some point. That said, you may not know what you think you know. Unless you have his transcripts in hand I'd recommend letting nature take its course. 1
matmacwc Posted April 5, 2016 Posted April 5, 2016 (edited) We have one that airline lawyers are calling about, he left a while ago, we will see. Edited April 5, 2016 by matmacwc

If you find this troubling, you may to want to go ahead and sign up for counseling because you're about to learn that airline pilots of even lower moral character exist. And this.
