sky_king Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 So, I don't have a passport (gov or civilian). Yes, save me the lecture. My commander is open to releasing me a bit early because my replacement is getting out here early. I can hop on a Mil Air and get to Italy or Germany pretty easily. How difficult would it be to get home commercial from there? All I have are NATO Orders and military ID. If not commercial, Space-A?
Herk Driver Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Fairly easy. All you need are your ID and orders. More options if you go to Germany as you could always catch the rotator back to CONUS.Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network Forums 1
war007afa Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 The NATO orders and ID are all that's required by the FCG for official travel. If you make it to Italy or Germany, the Patriot Express averages every other day moving to the US (BWI).
Goblin Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 If you're redeploying then you'll be space-r vs space-a. Either way your orders should be fine. 1
war007afa Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Another option is to have ACM orders drafted. Can help get you on any aircraft regardless of passenger seats released (some won't based on cargo type). ARMS bubbas can hook it up.
sky_king Posted September 20, 2016 Author Posted September 20, 2016 Thanks everyone. That's the info I was hoping for, but not expecting.
