Newly released view of the inside of the cockpit of the advanced companion trainer for the B-21.

And they said you'd never have to do a fix to fix again!

What is a point of making a "first" DT flight - a public event?

I’m Gonna guess there’s a simulation environment that was built just for this thing and that 69% of testing was done before it rolled off the line.

Love all the secrecy about the design of the B-21s ass end.. only to have it photographed in hi-def from all aspects in broad daylight the second it makes its first flight. Oh and surprise, it looks exactly like everyone thought it would.

Makes the unveiling where they wheeled it 10 feet out of a hangar at dusk to transformers music seem especially stupid now.

Imma be honest: flew the C in UPT and PIT; getting to go back into the A for AdAir was awesome.

Loved that jet; they can keep the C and PMP.

Huggy,

It may do those guys some good  to go back to old school flying.  I’m sure by the time the B-21 is in service, the T-7 will replace those -38’ Alphas anyway.

I'm wondering when Boeing's next delay will be announced.
As of a year ago, plane didn't have an internal ladder, and the side of it wasn't stressed to hang a ladder on it.

F-15EX delayed

Starliner massively delayed and over budget

It still doesn’t have an internal ladder.

Boeing pioneered the air refueling boom. Now they have the opportunity to revolutionize pilot ingress and egress methods by inventing the pilot ground handling boom.

 Boomer: Ready astern
 Pilot: Cleared to contact
Pilot: Back 6, down 9, slow closure
 Boomer: Say numbers
 Pilot: Breakaway x3!
Boomer: Check harness appears we had a brute force disconnect.

Roles reversed!

True but thank god she has that fine ass IYKYK)...especially given the history of the B-2 and her rear end.  One ass hat senior general fell on his sword saying the B-2 "might" have to go low which led to a complete redesign, years of delay with massive cost overruns and a paltry fleet size of 21.

Yeah, but it's modified so you can turn the heat off fro the back seat.
