the honorable thing for trump to at this point would be to resign
I think he's way past that point... Though maybe he'll just rage quit as a final crazy statement.

It sure is going to be an interesting couple of weeks, that's for sure.

This situation isn't funny in the least, but what if upon Biden taking office he points at the former President and says "You're fired"?

Is that Sim, or Seadogs?  I get so confused sometimes...

Sure seems like they dropped off here, must be busy building a cabin and searching Parlor for more evidence.

Rioting after protest leads to curfew for Seattle - NEWS 1130

Donald Trump has declared it a terrorist organisation but what is Antifa anyway? - ABC News

Riots erupt in several US cities over Minnesota police killing of unarmed black man

No, what's happening in DC right now is not right or justified; but calling this "protesting" wasn't either!

Exactly!  Forgot to clarify "much like Portland, Chicago, et al" as far as "protesting"

No one's arguing that those BLM rioters are pieces of shit. No one. That's not the point.

A key difference between the two is that the president of the United States was not the figurehead, orator, and leader sparking any of those riots.

You're right. They're pretty much the same thing. So no doubt we can expect the exact same level of condemnation from you right?

Agreed. But you’re not being intellectually honest here, there were way more peaceful protests than there were riots.

Same could be claimed for what's going on today, as evident below; but we all know we're being fed BS when it comes to "news" reporting...

Not arguing that Trump isn't the instigator in today's acts, and it's a shit move on his part (but not unexpected); but there were a lot of elected officials who sat on their asses and allowed the BLM, ANTIFA and other "protests" to occur...

Oh, and media is totally acting disgusting in this whole mess today. Totally agreed! You’re not the media, so I hold you to a higher standard .

All depends on perspective. Sen Duckworth (sp?) was interviewed and said something along the lines of, “no I wasn’t worried, this is the Capitol for crying out loud, not Mogadishu!” Some other D, forget his name, decided to go the complete opposite direction with his comment talking about how incredibly scary it was.

Let’s not diminish how serious it is by making it seem more of a threat than it really was. No real threat at all, but still a totally reprehensible crime and assault on Democracy.

Next up: Hilary’s emails and Hunter’s laptop.

Because if the son of George Bush got millions in shady business deals obviously peddling access and influence via family connections to powerful gov officials while simultaneously getting paid by a company in a foreign country in a business he knew nothing about the media, deep state and Democratic Party would have been cool with that too?

Anyone else expected that the US Capitol would have been a little more......defended?

I mean, on today of all days, I would have expected the place to be guarded like Fort Knox.  Instead, it looks like the halls of Congress have been stormed by the clientele from a Waffle House.

No - very powerful and important people made excuses, lied and shaded the truth about the violent, nihilistic and criminal behavior of their side

I haven’t been paying attention to the events in D.C. today, but based on some replies on the Interweb’s, sure seems to be a whole bunch of D’s are real big “Law and Order” types today.

Regardless of your motivation, we can all agree the destruction of property is wrong. And storming the capital while holding a Confederate flag, isn’t making the statement you think it is...
