Guardian Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Would have been the "hugest" landslide in the history of landslides if his opponent wasn't the most polarizing candidate in our nations history Who did everything his campaign promised, produced the strongest American economy ever, and was willing to hold other countries responsible for their bad behavior while starting no wars. Weird. What a terrible guy. 1 4

Most of them didn’t vote “for him”, but rather “against Trump.” Trump’s administration did some amazing things…most on the left couldn’t get around his personality and antics. Call it TDS, call it a too politically correct society, etc, but his personality did get in the way of the great ideas he did have. Sleepy Joe was like your weird but harmless uncle. Now two years later we are seeing however…… 1

Well done. 1
HeloDude Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Not sure what your guys’ predictions are for the election in 2 weeks, but the betting sites over the last 1-2 weeks have the GOP winning the Senate. I’m still not quite sure but this is where people are putting their money. Thoughts? https://www.predictit.org
guineapigfury Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 I think we're looking at a Democratic Senate and a Republican House. The GOP picked some profoundly unready celebrity candidates (Dr. Oz & Herschel Walker) and likely thrown away a couple of very winnable races. We'll see in a couple of weeks.
TreeA10 Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 RealClearPolitics.com is showing 47D - 53R in the Senate. They show their data from previous years along with errors in polling in previous years to come up with their prediction.

I agree on Dr. Oz, but hell, his opponent is a guy who can't put a sentence together and looks like an extra from Sons of Anarchy. 1

FourFans Posted October 22, 2022 Posted October 22, 2022 Any bets on how many races get put into the "they cheated" category after the election for the next two years until complaining can resume about cheating in the presidential election again? My guess is about 5. 2

JimNtexas Posted October 23, 2022 Posted October 23, 2022 (edited) Here in Texas just this week the polls have all swung from almost too close to call to a near landslide for Greg Abbott(R) over darling of the left Beto O’Rourke (D). I think the pollsters were trying to prop up Beto, it now that actual voting starts in two days they have their own credibly to think about. Edited October 23, 2022 by JimNtexas 1

The irony of Obama giving a speech in front of the Lincoln memorial was amusing/sad. Search how he felt about black folks.

My guess is about 5. Not quite sure but I’ll put money down on Stacey Abrams refusing to concede the second time she gets beaten by Kemp, citing some nonsense about voter suppression. She will get another book deal since for some reason the left loves to idolize losers (Beto), and Stacey will never go away. 3
