Who in the democratic party doesn't fulfill all of those criticisms? And I think Trump is one of the few do care about this country. His actions speak louder than most all who have come before him.

RFK Jr for one. Tulsi Gabbard. Joe Manchin. Mark Kelly.

Yeah, he cares about it so much he convinced Republicans to not vote in Georgia, costing them the Senate. He decided not to fund any candidates running in 2022, almost unheard of for an ex president, because he wanted to save everything for his campaign. So much for the red wave. He's decided that siding with Disney over Desantis was in our best interests, definitely not his political interests. He cares about one thing only: himself. He's publicly shit on people who made fools of themselves defending him such as Lindsey Graham, Bill Barr, and Kayleigh McEnany. And all that is just the new stuff since his first run.

Ew, no, I covered that.

The fact that you knowingly voted for someone who couldn't put together thoughts, even at the time he was running for president, says a significant amount.

Who the fuck are you talking about? Did you read the post at all?

I still voted for him, because I'm capable of having more than one thought in my head at a time.

He even said he voted for Trump in his last two sentences.

No wonder this is the state of politics. People don't have the attention span for actual debate. They just see "X good, Y bad" and jump on it.

Keep up, Brother.

Yeah I know. But she was one. That's kinda the point, the party is running out all the moderates. I see a split coming oif they can't figure out what to do with the progressive movement. They'll probably lose Manchin next.

But fair shot.

The dems should split; create the progressive party and move on (it already exists at the state level). That way “regular” dems can actually vote for rational policies and not be forced into two options of trump or supporting batshit crazy progressive policies and candidates. Unfortunately most will vote along party lines and would rather cast a vote for dipshit 69 than anyone with the opposite party symbol. Bring back dems that I may disagree with on some things, but at least we both still reside in reality and are logical.

You have my apologies - Several rounds of bourbon on the rocks last night.

If you look I've posted positively about RFKJ and I'm a fan of Gabbard and Manchin. I was more speaking to those who have already assumed the role of President in the past.

The bourbon defense is always allowed around here 😂. Cheers!

Yes

I actually believe that he does.

He’s a raging dumpster fire, personality wise, but yeah, I think he has better intentions and ideas that anyone either party is going to put forward.

I do believe this, in the face of all propaganda we’ve been fed.

What type of a personality would it take to go into DC and take on the elites?  A brash, egotistical billionaire real estate tycoon from NY who doesn’t need the money, power or fame.

Anyone else that has tried has been chewed up and spit out for even thinking about it.

Look what they have thrown at him for the last 6 years.  And he keeps on fighting.  Part of his legacy will be the fact that he has highlighted and exposed the deep corruption in DC.

Certainly not saying he’s my favorite person on the planet.  Just making the observations.

I'm just beginning to listen to RFK Jr as he's become popular of late. It's a bit of a chore, but so far it's interesting to be able to listen to someone from the other side and not immediately feel put off. Not that he could without being shot, but I'd like to see someone with his demeanor and common sense take on DC.

Health & wellness check on everyone saying, “Oh you could never charge the President’s son!” Well he was charged, pled guilty, and reached a deal with the (Trump-appointed) US Attorney from Delaware David Weiss.

Go buy a gun illegally and not pay millions in taxes and see how many misdemeanors and dropped charges you get?

He pled guilty to basically nothing. The gun charge doesn’t require a plea, and under the diversion now he can’t be charged with anything pertinent to the case because that would be double jeopardy.

🤷‍♂️ I was told on good authority by Baseops, Esq. that he would not be charged and couldn’t be charged because he was being protected by The Big Guy.

I guess next time I’ll pay for my legal advice instead of relying on the Shitposter School of Law graduates we all are around here.

😅

Why is there no investigation?! (There was one since 2018)

Why are there no charges?! (Here they are)

But he’s guilty!! (He pled guilty to some of the charges and took a deal on others, which is common)

Rabble rabble rabble…nevertheless.

The fact you can look at those charges and refer to that as “not protection” shows how in the bag you are for “it’s ok and I’ll pretend I didn’t see it when my party does it.”

Again, between this or Clinton deliberately destroying her server hardware to deny investigation immediate access and somehow that isn’t obstruction…

Right bro. Totally on the level.

This is a man who believes wifi radiation causes cancer, that Prozac causes mass shootings, that W stole the 2004 election because of voter fraud in Ohio, and that vaccines cause autism.

If that’s you’re kind of “Democrat” it’s no wonder you’re a Republican! If this were the Dem party I would be a Republican too.

Luckily that’s not the case. RFKJ is a piece of crap conspiracy peddler. He’s Marianne Williamson with a dick and a better last name. Never will be President, never should be taken seriously, a disgrace to his name and I’d bet his father has been rolling in his grave for years listening to the volume and variety of BS coming out of his son’s mouth in public.

If you think he should have been given harsher charges or not given a plea deal, please take that up with the Trump-appointed US Attorney who brought the case.

For all his talk, Trump sure did a completely shit job of appointing people that share his corrupt “values” like viciously attacking Dems using the levers of government lol. Wray, Weiss, Judge Cannon, etc. When you pick the refs and still lose it really says something about your case.

I am in favor of prosecuting all criminals and holding them accountable. If you want to do that more widely and seriously for political and business elites, I say it again, your terms are acceptable. I have some ideas of where we can start!

Ya know the Dem President’s son was just charged and plead guilty to crimes.

I, a Dem, am fairly happy about that because he pretty clearly did some crimes and no one should be above the law.

Meanwhile all the Law & Order right wingers who hate Biden and longed for this even though they said very authoritatively that it could never happen are all pissed off and grouchy, as usual.

There is an FBI whistleblower testifying to congress that the DOJ has been taking action to limit and protect the son of the President, but you’re happy so I guess he’s wrong.

Let him/her speak then! Do it. If they’re correct then bring more charges. I don’t understand how you do not grasp my position on this issue.

That’s just the point you’re trying so blatantly to step around.

The method the justice department is charging him under negates the ability for him to ever be touched with that stuff again. He doesn’t even have to enter a plea to the Felony gun charge. It just goes away.

And the whistleblower did testify, about documents, and they nearly had to hold the FBI director in contempt to get redacted items from that testimony.

So Chris Wray (appointed by Trump) and Davis Weiss (appointed by Trump) are in a deep-state conspiracy to protect Hunter Biden? Ok…that is a take I guess.

If there are other appropriate and legal ways to investigate or charge Hunter, be my guest. Whistleblow to your heart’s content, let the truth be known and the corrupt among the powerful be held accountable.*

*if there is a case to be made and truth to allegations

Also from what I understand Hunter got a year probation for the gun charge, and after serving that it would essentially go away. I’m not a sentencing expert but that doesn’t seem out of the ballpark, it’s not like he used the gun to shoot someone in the middle of Fifth Avenue!

If you want a more rigorous and strict federally-led enforcement regime for gun-related crimes, I am all in favor of that.

As I said, I've only begun listening to what he has to say. I had near zero knowledge of the man prior to a week ago. I'm open minded, where did he get those ideas? So far, I've only heard his vaccine and autism claim.

I was sort of expecting some sort of educated rebuttal to the issues you brought up... but instead, you just called him a "piece of crap" among other insults in a bizarre tirade. LOL What? Overreact much?

I actually did Google the medical issues you mentioned, because I am certainly not an expert, but I can read. There is compelling data in scientific journals both for and against those claims. I'll provide links if you'd actually want to critique scientific research papers in public. Perhaps I'm wrong, but It's as though you're trying to conceal that you have zero authoritative expertise on any one of those issues by being overly condescending.

You’re correct that I did not rebut RFKJ’s ridiculous claims, and I don’t plan on it. As to where he gets his ideas, IDK, aliens injected them up his ass when he got abducted maybe?

Vaccines do not cause autism. SSRIs don’t cause mass shootings. Your wifi isn’t giving you cancer. Bush won Ohio in 2004 despite my wishing he hadn’t. These are not controversial, “data on both sides” takes. But don’t take my word for it. Next time you go to your current family or personal doctor, I encourage you to ask about the medical conspiracies and see what he/she says.

I hate conspiracy theorists. Yes there are actual conspiracies in the world, but that doesn’t mean everything is a conspiracy. Occam’s Razor, uncertainty, and poorly executed plans explain like 99.69% of situations. It’s just a personality type I loathe and refuse to deal with. I sometimes take the time to rant or mock them because it is a little bit satisfying to dunk on people who are so consistently wrong.

If RFKJ wants to think the moon is made of cheese great, but GTFO out of here thinking you can be President or represent my party - you can’t and you don’t.
