It really does feel like the Ds are trying to stick the gas pedal to the floor and bail out and watch the ensuing wreck.

As-in the rapidly declining economy, and escalating UKR-Russ war, amoungst several other matters....checks they are accelerating near-term-end actions/decisions. To be fair, so do most administrations.

Watch them blame the other party next election cycle, and skirt accusations of their policies driving over a preverbial cliff then handing over the controls midair. Will they be in the seats upon 'impact'? Probably not, that's next guy's problem! Very short sided however. Hopefully unlike Americans' memories.

MSNBC admitted it was "unaware" that Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign paid $500,000 to Rev. Al Sharpton’s National Action Network nonprofit ahead of a friendly interview with the Democratic nominee ahead of Election Day.

I’m old enough to remember when the progressives would complain about all the money in politics/how much was spent on elections…now they’re leading the pack wrt all the spending.

Daddy Biden pardons Baby (Hunter) Biden. Calls it an unfair witch hunt.

Tell me you’re a family of slime bags without telling me you’re a family of slime bags..

At least the laptop story was fake……..right?

Should have taken the Frank Costanza approach, “Hunter we've had it with you. Understand? We love you like a son, but even parents have limits.”

Guess nepotism is in, baby!

Joe’s legacy is complete dogshit. He had no face to save by not pardoning Hunter, so from his POV might as well - probably the most logical thought/decision he’s had in decades.

Biden didn't pardon Hunter.  He pardoned himself.  I’m confident the Bidens are easily one of the most corrupt families in the history of this country.  Hopefully, when history writes itself, the truth and evidence come out.

These people make me sick.  I hope they pay.  Even if it is just in the history books.

Biden said he would not pardon his son, but did it anyway.  I always predicted this would happen.  Anyone who is surprised by this, well, they shouldn’t be.  To be fair, I truly think Trump would have done the same if he were in a similar situation.

Not even remotely surprised.  First, as many have said, Joe's a corrupt politician at his core and closing all investigations into this would protect himself as well.  Second, his son was facing a potential lengthy prison term.  I get that the right thing to do was to let justice happen, but I doubt many fathers would have been able to let justice run its course when they could just sign a pardon.

So rather than merely pardoning his son for the gun crimes for which he was convicted  and the tax crimes for which he plead guilt, Biden’s pardon covers all "offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in" from Jan. 1, 2014, through Dec. 1, 2024.  Joe is covered his tracks and blocking any route to discover his crimes against America.

Can't wait for the usual suspects to spin this and drop some Trump Whataboutism.

@ClearedHot My initial comment above was when I was just thinking the gun and tax crimes, but now I’ve read more and saw the 10 yr timespan that’s covered. This was as much a “shadow” pardon for Joe as it was an outward one for Hunter. Absolute garbage humans - my only Christmas wish (that will never come true) is to have Joe and Fauci dumped into the general population at Rikers and let that run its course…they deserve all of that and more.

Totally unacceptable to pardon your son like that, an abuse of power.

Which is why Dems are obviously publicly upset and non supportive.

The good thing is, we’re finally getting a president in the seat that wouldn’t abuse his power to pardon folks simply because they’re family related. For example, wouldn’t it be crazy if a sitting president pardoned his daughter’s father in law, just because he has close ties? And he surely wouldn’t do that to then make him a high ranking ambassador in a future administration. That would be absolutely absurd, something a democrat would do.

I for one am glad that we are going to uncover the corruption of all people, regardless of their position, party, ties, or influence. Every person charged with felonies, regardless of who they are, should face the consequences of those actions, especially if convicted by the legal system.
