but I am concerned, though, as it does continue to degrade our society and government.

The only way it doesn’t is doing something like Lord Ratner said above…can’t drag them to court, but Trump sure as shit can declassify everything and release it to the world. That would be even better than any trials that hypothetically could have happened. If the dark world of that corrupt shitshow family (and others like them) are massively exposed, and not just on obscure sites, it would likely wake up even more people to the absolute lie they’ve bought.

Where do I send the check for my blanket pardon?

PS, I think Senile Joe is about to strap on a leather helmet and a drool bucket let alone remember what he said a while back, but step-momma Jill remembers and she still needs her boy to reignite the family biz.

Lots of talk about Rudolph Giuliani demanding $1-2M to work a pardon through Trump (without Donald's knowledge), during his first term.

PS.  Why does Trump want to raise the debt ceiling?  I thought he was mandated to bring the budget back into balance.

He’s not a conservative, so doubt he cares about it. He has a lot of big business whisper in his ear right now, so whatever they want is what sounds good to him this week. Higher debt ceiling, maybe the highest debt ceiling. People are talking about it. They say it.

This forum is about to eat up right wing propaganda stating the government shutdown is the Dem’s fault. Even though it’s a Republican controlled House that didn’t pass a budget bill.

Guess it would probably be too embarrassing to admit that President Musk’s tweets to tell republicans to not pass any bills had more impact than First Lady Trump.

Saying “President Musk” just further embarrasses the fact that Biden is the president…but that being said, I’ll take Musk on the Trump team any day!

It’s on the dems AND the willing GOP participants of the establishment (McConnell, Crenshaw, etc.) The people are sick of all the bullshit pork the aforementioned group shoves in bills - so yeah it is their fault. I will also be happy to see the gov shutdown. We’re fiscally out of control more than anytime in history - it has to stop.

It costs a lot of money to deport the browns.

Shut it down...everytime there has been a shutdown they blame the GOP and everytime the GOP does better in the mid-terms.  And before you through all the GOP and Trump Tripe out there...where is the current freaking President?  Isn't he supposed to lead?

The House just passed the bill with more than the 2/3rd vote, so if there is a shutdown, then it is 100% on the Dems.  They pulled the debt ceiling increase/removal, which was the worst part.  Still spending way too much, but only the bill is 10% of the original length, which is progress.

I would still rather have seen the shutdown and a massive spending cut as the requirement to open the government back up.  We're spending money we don't have like a SNACKO who put everything on black in Vegas and is now borrowing money trying to double up to catch up.
