waveshaper Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Possible punishment for these Devil Dogs; Nuts; Three dogs were sitting in the waiting room at the vet's when they struck up a conversation. The Yellow Labrador turned to the Black Labrador and said, so why are you here? I'm a pisser. I piss on everything....the sofa, the curtains, the cat, the kids. But the final straw was last night when I pissed in the middle of my owner's bed. The Yellow Lab said, so what's the vet going to do? "Gonna cut my nuts off" came the reply from the Black Lab. They reckon it'll calm me down. The Black Lab then turned to the Yellow Lab and asked, why are you here? The Yellow Lab said, I'm a digger. I dig under fences, dig up flowers and trees, I dig just for the hell of it. When I'm inside, I dig up the carpets. But I went over the line last night when I dug a great big hole in owner's couch. So what are they going to do to you "the Black Lab inquired"? Looks like I'm losing my nuts too, the dejected Yellow Lab said. The Black Lab then turned to the Great Dane and asked, why are you here? I'm a humper, said the Great Dane. I'll hump anything. I'll hump the cat, a pillow, the table, fence posts, whatever. I want to hump everything I see. Yesterday my owner had just got out of the shower and was bending down to dry her toes, and I just couldn't help myself. I hopped on her back and started hammering away. The Black and the Yellow Labs exchanged a sad glance and said, "So, it's nuts off for you too, huh ?” The Great Dane said, “No, apparently I'm here to get my nails clipped!" 6

So, having read the news story, we're all about to be disciplined for "being aware of" the problem? Edited March 14, 2017 by pawnman
fire4effect Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 Let the collective paranoia begin. I'm waiting on the MODs to get a National Security Letter and we'll all be given up whosale. Dibs on the bottom bunk.
M2 Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Business Insider is reporting that the Army has opened up a similar investigation... Quote The US Army has opened an investigation into allegations that some active-duty soldiers may be involved in the online sharing of nude photos of their colleagues, Business Insider has learned. The inquiry by the US Army’s computer crime investigative unit comes one day after Business Insider reported that the scandal initially believed to be limited to the Marine Corps actually impacts every branch of service. The report revealed a public message board where purported male service members from all military branches, including service academies, were allegedly cyber-stalking and sharing nude photos of their female colleagues. Special agents from US Army’s criminal investigation command “are currently assessing information and photographs on a civilian website that appear to include US Army personnel,” Col. Patrick Seiber, a spokesman for the Army, told Business Insider. “They are currently assisting to determine if a criminal offense has occurred.” Full article: https://www.businessinsider.com/army-investigation-into-allegations-of-nude-photo-sharing-2017-3
waveshaper Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 (edited) A couple of my theories on this subject (sarcasm, i think/yes i'm currently violating GO#1 ROE's); Theory #1. This "problem" might be a subtle indicator of some of the negative effects from 26 years of fighting wars in countries where the troops can't blow off steam, drink or chase skirt. Also, General Order Number #1 hasn't been good for morale, etc. Heck, Muhammad's first Executive Order in 618 AD was the Islamic version of our current US military General Order #1 and today it's still in effect-1,400 years later. With these type rules/laws, It's no wonder that male Muslims become so radicalized at such a young age. How has this type of heavily enforced GO #1 worked out for Muslim females over the last 1,400? Theory #2. These Marines may be suffering from some form of ingrained, subconscious - DNA induced, PT-stress disorder (note PT in this case doesn't mean Post Traumatic). Mother Nature should also be placed on the chopping block for her failures, if this is proven to be true. Edited March 12, 2017 by waveshaper

LoL, and DoD/Congress is worried about a bunch of young Marines looking at nudie pictures. This caught my eye/need more details. brickhistory Posted March 18, 2017 Author Posted March 18, 2017 Ooohh, a "joint task force." Navy, Marine, Army, Air Force and Coast Guard investigators have "established a multi-service task force to expand the investigation," she said." https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2017/03/17/marine-corps-commandant-robert-neller-marines-united-pornography/99306778/

skibum Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 What we're about to see is the pussification of the Marine Corps. There's already talk of changing the tone of Marine recruiting from sharp-edged, combat focused to moral citizenship. Marine commercials used to make me secretly ashamed of the AF (now I'm publicly ashamed) because they focused on fighting while we focused on social studies. Now, I'm afraid our last bastion of real warfighter mentality is about to get castrated.
Bobsan Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 “I know I speak for everyone on this panel when I say we are going to investigate this properly, find a few Marines here and there we can burn, then call it a day until two or three years from now when this comes up again.” https://www.duffelblog.com/2017/03/marine-nude-photo-scandal-2/ 1
