hispeed7721 Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 For several days, whenever I open the Baseops app on my iPhone, it shows no content under "unread." I thought signing out and back in (on the app) might fix things but now I cannot log back into the app. Whenever I try to login, I get a pop up with 50+ pages of error code. I have no issue logging in via safari on the iPhone or on my computer. Anyone else having this issue?
DFRESH Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Everybody else is having this issue. I didn't start a different thread about it, but I mentioned it in the Reputation thread. The app will be out of service UFN.
DFRESH Posted July 29, 2017 Posted July 29, 2017 Update: I've installed an older version of the back end software that the app needs to access the forum. It should work for the near rocks. Of note, if you ever have issues with the app, logging out and logging back in should help. Also if there's something wrong on the server end the app won't let you back in, which will save you battery life from your app constantly trying to access something that isn't there.
Kenny Powers Posted July 31, 2017 Posted July 31, 2017 Having the same issue with the tapatalk and baseops.net app. Get a CSFR fail or something like that when I try to log back in to Base Ops on either. Can still see posts but only as a guest. Samsung Galaxy phone.

Kenny Powers Posted August 3, 2017 Posted August 3, 2017 Not sure if it matters but the website works fine on my phone, just the baseops.net and tapatalk apps giving the error. 1

DFRESH Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 I'm looking into it. Apparently something is wrong on the Tapatalk end of things. 1
Kenny Powers Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 The glass half full perspective is that I've learned I can say fuck using the website. Probably never go back.
Learjetter Posted August 11, 2017 Posted August 11, 2017 Same login failure (csrf_fail). On both: Android galaxy tablet: baseops paid app and android phone: free app.
DFRESH Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 I've got a ticket in with the group that maintains the app...
ThreeHoler Posted August 25, 2017 Posted August 25, 2017 While they're at it can they remove the swear filter on the app?
DFRESH Posted September 2, 2017 Posted September 2, 2017 Finally got pushed up to a higher level of support. Still no results though.
Learjetter Posted September 11, 2017 Posted September 11, 2017 Looking forward to getting this fixed...I like using the android app. 1
DFRESH Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 The team that builds the app will be randomly tinkering with the plugin and the site over the next 24 hours or so. Hopefully they can get it resolved soon. 1
Learjetter Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 Still same error on both free and paid app on android phone and tablet. Did the tinkerers give an ETIC?
ThreeHoler Posted September 29, 2017 Posted September 29, 2017 yeah. Can we get the swear filter removed from the app?
