Long time lurker on the forums getting ready to separate from AD and applying for airline jobs. The family has made the decision to settle down in Colorado Springs and I'm trying to find a part time reserve/guard gig in Colorado, preferably the Springs but I could commute to Buckley. I'm a mobility pilot, so I'm assuming I would need to find a rated position? I am planning on applying for PC, about 4 months off of my PCS ADSC so a CAT E billet wouldn't work until I paid back my 3 for 1. I'm constantly looking at reserve vacancies on AMS but it sounds like there are a ton of opportunities out there that aren't always posted. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I have a fall back plan which would involve commuting to the west coast, but I would rather not have to do that if I can avoid it.

Herks in Peterson, and almost everyone other location across the country...start looking for contacts. I've seen that thing on AMS with vacancies, but that will NEVER get you hired. Network, talk to UPT bros, and dudes in your squadron about who they know where. If you're a good dude they'll put in a good word.

Yeah, I definitely don't plan on getting hired through the AMS postings just trying to find what all is out there. I've been out of the mainstream for a few years. I forgot about the Scott option as well. Herk, sent you a PM.
