Made promotion list in ANG, then transferred to AFRES--now what?

If I'm on the promotion list as an ANG officer, then prior to pinning-on, transfer to an AFRES billet (i.e. quit the guard and affiliate as a SELRES or PIRR), does AFRC promote me on my effective date (i.e. 7 yrs TIG)? Anyone have a reg reference or personal tale?

Old thread, but noone answered this and I have the exact same question so.... giving this a bump.

A pilot in my unit did this. The biggest issue for her was fedrec. AFRC didn’t want to recognize the promo because the guard was so slow showing fedrec. Once the fedrec came through, her DOR was set at the date should have put it on with the guard, IIRC.

ARPC said since my promo board as an ANG was held under title 10 authority that the promotion would happen on schedule regardless of component. And they were right.
