HuggyU2 Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 (edited) For you Contracting experts: 1. What's the max you can put on a GPC? It was $2500, but I heard it went up to $5000. True? 2. If the AF wants to go sole-source on a contract without competing it, what's the most they can spend? I"m assuming it's the same as the GPC card limit ($2500 or $5000). Edited May 9, 2019 by HuggyU2
KWings06j Posted May 9, 2019 Posted May 9, 2019 You can sole source well above the gpc limit. You just have to be able to provide sufficient justification to make it through all the contracting and legal wickets. I'm working on trying to sole source a nearly $300k purchase. 1
herkbier Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 Also.. GPC limit is pretty high now, $20K? at LRAFB, we are supposed to be getting a “super GPC” (held by the Group RAs) that is supposed to have a crazy high limit.. $200+K. They say it’ll be here by FY20
olevelo Posted May 10, 2019 Posted May 10, 2019 GPC limit is $25k, but I believe they have to get an authorization from finance or contracting to go above $5k, which is the limit before you have to go through contracting and do the three competing vendors shuffle. This is subject to change based on my memory. Sent from my SM-N960U1 using Tapatalk
AirGuardianC141747 Posted May 11, 2019 Posted May 11, 2019 Max limit EBT Card? Or does it have a better trade value? Don’t destroy me, but I was curious.
