jonlbs Posted February 4, 2023 Posted February 4, 2023 (edited) Good breakdown of the whole COVID-19 religious exemption debacle. It’s hard watching these things cause all it does is make you so upset/sad and reminds you of one of the most embarrassing times in military history. Spitting in the face of warfighters much better than me who have gone to hell and back for this country. Edited February 4, 2023 by jonlbs 1

But its very clear your bias here and the tint of your lenses. If you think people in the private sector give a damn about "the mission" or "the objective"..... You are coming from a place of loyalty/duty/purpose. In the private sector the only "thing" you work for is supporting a bunch of privledged people line their pockets with satin gold you'll never touch. People don't work for "the mission." They work for "themselves." And that often means coming to work running out the mouth ass and nose because they need to make that rent payment in 2 weeks and they aren't getting paid if they aren't there. Flea, you've been duped. It's not a bias or the tint of my lenses if I experience it every day. And so do you if you pay attention. Yes, low income people are working for privileged people. So are you. And no, they don't come to work running out the mouth ass and nose whatever that means because they need to make the rent payment. They simply don't come in.
filthy_liar Posted February 5, 2023 Posted February 5, 2023 I'm sure they appreciate you championing for them. But they are just going to not show up to work while you're slamming your fist down on your pulpit saying dammit low income wage workers are the hardest working people in America.
Sim Posted February 7, 2023 Posted February 7, 2023 Masks are useless. Quote The study reviewed 78 randomized control trials—experiments that have long been considered "the gold standard" for medicine—which assessed the effectiveness of face masks against flu, COVID-19, and similar illnesses. It found that wearing masks "probably makes little or no difference" for the general public, no matter what kind of mask is used. Even N95 masks, considered the most effective at filtering airborne particles, showed no clear benefit for health care workers. https://freebeacon.com/coronavirus/this-study-could-be-scientific-nail-in-the-coffin-for-masks/ Link to an actual study https://www.cochranelibrary.com/cdsr/doi/10.1002/14651858.CD006207.pub6/full 1

Try this phrasing on for size: Forcible insertion of anything into a 14 year old against the will of the parents or the child. Yeah. I get that vibe too. Apparently "No" doesn't mean "No" if COVID is involved. Edited February 10, 2023 by FourFans130 1

Trump is a raging twit. Fact. Stop saying his name like it's some kind of defense or excuse for the horrific policies of the current administration. Our current administration has exacerbated or outright caused complete failures in America's economy, foreign policy, military readiness, immigration policy, border security, energy and transportation management, trust in our healthcare system, and faith in our baseline governing civics. The former president had nothing to do with ANY of that. 5 2 4
Guardian Posted February 18, 2023 Posted February 18, 2023 And one could say the former president had the most successful 3 years of any precidency and ushered the country into an amazing unparalleled prosperity which the current presidency has destroyed. Our country is alot worse off right now than it has been since Carter. And worse than then. 3

By all metrics I care about he was a better president than what we currently have. Our nation is more divided, poorer, less free, and less respected internationally now than when he was president. 3 1

Inflation still raging, the SPR at a new record low (see chart below), and our borders wide open with fentanyl flowing across at record levels killing 300 Americans a day. Can you imagine if an airliner crashed everyday and killed 300 Americans because the border was open, there would be outrage. Instead, liberals cheer and enable more illegal immigrants to sneak across our border carrying millions of pills. 2 5
