Apparently, nobody wanted it. The folks at Scott were hesitant because "whos gonna wana TDY to Meridian". We have a sim building already. It was supposed to house the block 40 but that died a few years ago. MacDill has two sims. Not sure who is getting the other one.

At what point is it appropriate to consider switching units? If you’re a new guy should you at least do 2-3 yrs? I know there may not be a standard answer, but curious to discuss

No rule, completely subjective. 2-3 years is probably as good a ROT as any.

What are the approvals to switch units? Sq/CC? Reserve to reserve same airframe.

i think it's just a Sq/CC coordination and push paperwork up to get signed.
