war007afa Posted May 9, 2020 Posted May 9, 2020 SWA jet landing in Austin took a human to the engine cowling as they landed. Pilot apparently “maneuvered” to miss? https://www.cbsnews.com/news/southwest-airlines-jet-plane-hits-kills-person-austin-airport/#app
MD Posted May 13, 2020 Posted May 13, 2020 Alaska Airlines struck a drunk guy on RW 26L at PHX on a night takeoff and killed him back in 1990; was nothing left of him when we got there. Dude had wandered out of the Phoenix PD drunk tank that used to be located where Cutter/Swift FBOs are now next to South Cargo. Stuff happens.
