Eagleman1228 Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 As much as this forum is helpful, this is for all prospective candidates. SHOOT YOUR SHOT. Many people get on here to brag about their 99+ scores and what not. Put your best foot forward and don't let regret look you in the rearview. Most folks can see if mom and dad paid for every thing, Work as hard as the day is long and do the best you can, I think you'd be pleasantly surprised where you end up. I'm a prospective candidate at 29, 10+ years prior enlisted. It took me a little while but here I am. Let me know if you have any questions. 1 1
herkbum Posted April 16, 2021 Posted April 16, 2021 This is actually great advice. After 29 years, as a pilot recruiter/hirer, as a DO, and as a SQ/CC- I have given this advice countless times. I have always said the answer is no if you don’t ask. Make them tell you no, don’t tell yourself. Apply where you want and let the chips fall as they may. Best of luck!Sent from my iPhone using Baseops Network mobile app 2
