Hello, as you may be able to tell, this is my first post. Before I ruffle any feathers by my sheer ignorance, I just wanted to say that the past 5 years I have struggled to make headway with any moves towards a career in aviation and military due to not being a U.S. Citizen (from UK), as well as lacking the funds. Since my circumstances have changed, I hope to put in 100% over the next year or so to be competitive for an ANG/AFRES slot. I am sorry for not posting test scores because I only just became a citizen! I just wanted to have preliminary confirmation/denial that I am 1. Young enough, 2. Have enough education/experience, 3. The right attitude, - as a first step.

Education:

Assuming citizenship is not a factor then your age is also not a big factor. I'm going to OTS->UPT soon and I'm 30. The age limit for UPT is 33.

You'll definitely want that PPL before you're competitive. And the test scores can change everything.

If you want it, then go and get it.
