Jades Posted August 16, 2023 Posted August 16, 2023 (edited) Hey everyone, Hoping to get some input on what my chances are for a fighter unit. Started college a few years back but never finished due to running my own business. Finishing now at WGU in computer science just to fulfill degree requirement. Here’s my basic info Pilot: 99 PCSM: 99 GPA: Will be 3.0 PPL with 110hrs Past couple years I’ve been a professional racing driver and running my own business. Really hoping to get into a fighter unit, I know my GPA isn’t great and a degree from WGU might not be favorable but it’s the fastest way I can get a degree since I’m 27. Has anyone gotten a slot with a degree from WGU or another online school? Edited August 16, 2023 by Jades
O Face Posted September 3, 2023 Posted September 3, 2023 Nobody cares where you went to school. Personally, I see an applicant with a degree from WGU, or something similar, and I give them credit for making a sound financial decision instead of wasting massive amounts of $ at a liberal seminary. Great scores on your pilot and PCSM as well. You should have some really cool stories to tell at an interview about racing cars. Good luck. 1

Because its pass/fail their GPA works differently and you come out with a 3.0 from their program no matter if you transferred with an associates with a 4.0 from a community college. Hurts your application I would think
