Well, it is an election year. Tell me if you've heard this story before.

1. Bird flu research by the US and China. https://www.ars.usda.gov/research/project/?accnNo=439621

"Research Project: US-UK-China Collab: Predictive phylogenetics for evolutionary and transmission dynamics of newly emerging avian influenza viruses"

2. Bird flu found in chicken farms: Largest US egg producer temporarily halts production due to avian flu at Texas facility

3. Bird flu jumps from birds to dairy cattle.

4. Bird flu jumps from dairy cattle to humans per CDC

5. Pharmaceutical industry consultants for vaccines predict pandemic 100 times worse than COVID.

Roll up those sleves and bend over!

Any predictions on what comes after step 5?

Step next: lockdown/declare emergency, approve mail-in ballots, hell...just mail them out despite not being requested and then blue-wins "stolen" election again

Rinse and repeat as needed...

The number of Bird Flu news articles have exploded the last few days.

https://news.google.com/search?q=H5n1 when%3A1d&hl=en-US&gl=US&ceid=US%3Aen

COVID created a lot of debate and consternation. No matter how you feel about it, it moved or created, at a minimum, $4.5 Trillion dollars in the US economy. Mostly upward. It happened during an election year, and it affected how people voted. Chaos yields opportunity. There have been virtually no real consequences for anyone who happened to be in a position of authority or benefit, for bad decisions or actions pertaining to COVID.

It simply worked. Why would anyone not repeat a successful play?

If they do the Covid dance again, I'm going to spike the punch.

Fuck government overreach.

I have no doubt they will repeat the play, but many plays only work once. It'll have to be at least 50 years before that trick can be pulled again. People just won't do it this time.

Caveat: if the disease is actually more dangerous than a new strain of flu, for example if it kills children instead of old people, the masks will go on in a heartbeat.

I read some literature that suggested Bird Flu H5N1 has a mortality rate close to 60%, but this is likely a large overestimate given ascertainment bias.  That being said there are three traditional (non-MRNA), FDA approved vaccines that would be deployed.  There are currently 10 Million doses in mass bulk storage (but it takes two doses to immunize).  Lets hope they keep there eye on the ball and stockpile some more vaccine.

To be honest, I'd rather die than have Biden or Newsom (or any other government officials Rs or Ds) tell me how to survive another "pandemic".   They will fuck this one up too.

It also so far has been in shithole countries (compared to our standards) and any death cases that actually have details beyond just a stat admit multiple underlying conditions. This is more than likely just a repeat of the same fear mongering bullshit we saw with COVID. They want to keep/increase control, and they’ll do anything to accomplish that goal.

I mean they made that same mistake during early Covid.

“It’s decimating Italy” sounds impressive to anyone who hasn’t been to Italy. That’s a “first world country” in name only with a geriatric population.

Univ of Minnesota: US Department of Health of Human Services is purchasing 4.8 million doses of Bird Flu vaccine.

"Feds eye triggers for deploying vaccine O'Connell added that active discussions are under way across federal agencies about what the key triggers would be for deploying H5N1 vaccine doses. She also said discussions are still under way with mRNA vaccine makers Pfizer and Moderna, with an announcement expected soon on how the companies might be involved in vaccine development."

The last vaccine rollout went so smoothly with a highly effective vaccine and zero reported problems, so let's just run that play again...

...sounds exactly like the USAFA offensive coaching staff.   Run the option again, they'll never see it coming...
