Interesting report.  GS MEP experiences DCS, onboard med crew diagnoses as hyperventilating and doesn't check on him pretty much the entirety of the return to base.  Load has to convince them to inform the pilot but its passed to pilot as nothing big.  Dude dies the following morning after sliding towards death overnight in the ER.  Additionally, one of the 3 airdrop med techs popped hot for alcohol and THC......

I don't know what's more frustrating; the fact that his symptoms were textbook for serious cardiac issues or the fact that none of the other aircrew responded in any serious manner for several hours.

"...MM’s case of aerospace decompression sickness, coupled with his underlying medical condition, was so severe that actions taken by the HAAMS personnel or the aircrew to mitigate its effects would not, by a preponderance of the evidence, have likely proven successful."

And that's just it. We'll never truly know because they didn't try.

And that's just it. We'll never truly know because they didn't try.

It's wild because thats the only reason they are onboard.  You'd think they'd be giddy having actual work to do.  It's not like there was anything else for them to do for 3+ hours.
