AngrySlam Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Anyone have names for ENJJPT selections? Knowing the base early would help for family reasons, even if it means down to 3 options instead of four
GoYankees2025 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 (edited) UPT Select: 70 PCSM 82 Pilot, No PPL. package was 1/1 at wing, top 20 percent wing Strat, top group strat, and 3 Star. I was able to do RPP and met with a lot of people that organized the boards. From what I was told they are really homing in on a more whole person concept (leadership abilities and adaptability). Try to get as involved as you can in your wing and communities organizations that are attached to the wing. I routinely volunteered in the community, I was a VVA, and was a board member on my CGOC. I somewhat had breadth of experience, my CC allowed me to deploy to a high vis job outside of my career field where I was able to rub shoulders with a lot of the armed forces top brass. I know this is something that is not completely feasible for people in more operational AFSC's. Look out for cool hotjobs and if you can find out who your udm is so that if people reclama for something you can volunteer with CC approval. Put yourself out there and network at your wing if you are able! Edited January 25 by GoYankees2025 1

Keep an eye on your CDB in vMPF. That's where I first saw my training dates. 3
AngrySlam Posted February 3 Posted February 3 @Arkbird guessing it'll show in the projected training block? 1

Bekspet Posted February 7 Posted February 7 Does any one have information how medical at Wright Patt is. We already did the IFC1 to apply. Are they doing it all over again? What is done over there? thanks!

You’ll do about a days worth of medical screening and a psych test either at the end of that day or the next. check the link at the bottom of this for further breakdown. It can be stressful but don’t be afraid to standup for yourself. Don’t get DQ’d for a clerical error that’s made there. https://www.afrl.af.mil/711HPW/USAFSAM/FE/FCI/

I saw on some other forum that a fella declined because he was offered a guard/reserve UPT job. I’d say it was either that or family related concerns.

They only had 3 T-38 studs. The rest were T-1/sim guys. the class after this one has 8 T-38 bros going through.
jorfy Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Anyone have any recent drops for Vance/Columbus? It would be nice to see the T-38/T-1 sim track ratios for the other bases as well

Dude, I’m really hoping I don’t have to learn another aircraft and all its systems to only fly it in the SIM. That was my biggest complaint of RIQ lol.

They will start this spring. with that in mind, all of us will be on the new syllabus. 4.5 months of IPT (Phoenix, Atlanta, Dallas, or Pensacola) Shortened T-6 Syllabus Track to 38’s (normal 38 syllabus) Track direct to Heavy FTU we are the AF’s guinea Pigs for the new UPT. the last 3 years, dates were released 3-4 weeks after notification. For us, that should be this week or next!
flyguyinthesky Posted February 11 Posted February 11 If anybody has questions about UCT just hit me up, I got picked up on last years board and am in the pipeline right now! Can give you a solid lowdown of the different airframes and opportunities, there’s some really cool stuff you can do. 1
