I agree, I am checking my CDB constantly. I did notice they put a assignment limitation until 31 May for me but no training dates or anything else.

What is an assignment limitation, and where do you see what it is?

I received my training RIP for IPT. These are all the potential places you could go. The list is much longer than i originally thought. The first entry is Georgetown in Austin Tx.  I'll keep everyone posted as i get more info.

I live 5 minutes away from the Georgetown airfield! I had no idea it would be an IPT spot

CDB showing a projected October start at Vance.

For those that know they’re doing IPT, did the projected course in your CDB specifically say IPT?

QUAG’s course shows S-V8I-PT (the ETCA code for IPT) which figures because he's going to CBM. The standard UPT 2.5 T6 course is coded to P-V4A-U.

This Thursday, the AETC A5/8 said END will begin sending all studs through the IPT pipeline starting this October (and that DLF will do the same starting in July). Because you already have your PPL, maybe you got lucky and snagged a spot in one of the final "legacy" T6 classes.

Sweet, thanks to both of you for the info. Yeah, showing the standard course code, so hopefully that’s the case. Personally hoping to avoid IPT if that’s possible.

For my SA, where is that info being dispersed to?

My last about the pipeline comes from a buddy who met the General while he was on a tour in Mesa. Very little of what we know about IPT / FUPT / UPT 3.0 actually comes from official sources.

Hoping for the traditional T6 syllabus as well. Red leader standing by to fly cool jets before IPT direct FTU starts up

Not vain at all and a valid concern. Dude shows up for his first airline interview and tries using the military hr conversion factor and the airline is like “wait, you went to Embry Riddle just like that civilian guy over there. We only give mil credit to Navy and Army trained guys now.”

When I spoke to T-Flight @ Columbus, they told me CO means CAFB.

check with your CSS loss listing or outbound roster. You should be on it by now.

I'm also MFS complete, nothing populated in my CDB.

This wait is worse than waiting for the results.

Man I could not agree more. Would be nice if there was some sort of assignment schedule or reasons given why you are still waiting

Hey all, its been a crazy 24 hours. Yesterday received TFOT dates, today received IPT/UPT dates, and just now realized IFT in Pueblo, CO is now rolled together with UPT?

25 MAR TFOT

7 NOV IPT @ Laughlin

20 APR UPT @ Laughlin

Very excited but a lot of questions on the syllabus and what to expect at IPT.

I may be wrong, however IPT doesn’t show Doss in Pueblo as a valid location per the AETC web page.

you’ll go to IFT, it’s 4 months of training where you’ll get your Private, instrument and multi. Then you’ll start T-6 at Laughlin when you get back.

IFT used to take place in Pueblo, CO though, right? I just learned today that this is no longer the case with everything grouped together. My dates are for IFT/IPT and UPT both to take place at Laughlin.

Thanks for the insight. Do you know what airframes are used at IFT/IPT?

IFT (the original one at Pueblo, CO) used Diamond DA-20's. IPT (the new program) uses whatever the flight school you get sent to uses to go from Private all the way to Multi (likely Cessna 172S Nav III's, PA-28 Cherokees, and/or Cessna 310s for multi stuff).

One of the IPT locations is ERAU in Prescott. They use 172's and DA-42's for example.

IFT is dead, you are going to to IPT.

ERAU Prescott is a complete joke. They can’t even get their students through flight line training. My brother has been academics complete for a year now but can’t graduate because the flight line is so backed up.
