ERAU Prescott is a complete joke. They can’t even get their students through flight line training. My brother has been academics complete for a year now but can’t graduate because the flight line is so backed up.

Trust me, I know. I joke that Prescott is the labor camp for the Daytona mothership, so they try to get as many students as possible into the flight program with no care for secondary effects. How they expect to get IPT students pushed through is beyond me, especially with the dismal DA-42 rates.

Anyone have any idea what Sheppard is doing in regards to IPT/IFT? ENJJPT isn’t doing the shortened t-6 syllabus so are they still sending people to Doss?

As far as he’s tracking, they still go to doss. He’s about half through T-6 now.

Has anyone received TDY orders to MFS yet? If so did you also see training populate in your CDB? While I am MFS complete, I'm betting that there are assignments contingent upon how quickly folks are getting those approved.

I'm also struggling to understand the delay in assignments when the decision to send folks to UPT was made back in November. Anyone in here have experience that can breakdown what happens between the board to results and results to assignment drops? Specifically how some of us receive assignments in what seems to be a short time and others not so much.

More or less ready to have an idea what the future holds so I can figure out to do with my house, pets and family lol.

I haven't heard anything for my MFS yet. The selection email from the AFPC UFT Board says, USAFSAM is going to conduct a pre-screening to id people why need to go to Wright-Pat to do their MFS. I'm assume the slow down is either there or just AFPC just being slow as usual.

I haven't gotten any emails for MFS orders and I don't see anything in my CDB either. I emailed AFPC and they just gave me the 31 March date that we're supposed to find out by

Anyone know if unmarried captains will be required to stay in the dorms at the UPT bases? I'm not trying to send my four legged beast to live with my folks for a year lol.

As of 2022, yes. At least at Laughlin they had separate larger dorms for unmarried Capts

Columbus lets captains with no dependents live off base or they can live on base in the old housing (potentially with a roommate).

CDB showing a projected October start at Vance.

For those that know they’re doing IPT, did the projected course in your CDB specifically say IPT?

Vance currently isn't doing IPT. Still sending studs to IFT in Pueblo. I'm a current student at Vance. Hit me up if you have any questions

IFT is dead, you are going to to IPT.

I think that's the case for Columbus and Laughlin, but not for Vance unless they plan on switching in the future.

I heard a lot of alternates were picked up this today.

I’d be interested to see the data on this.

AFPC will generally only take an alternate if someone declines, which would have been done back in February. If it’s medical, they wait out the waiver process before picking someone up.

ie very unlikely for a alternate to be nabbed.

The plan is for the other bases to do IPT come Fall.

2 guys in my squadron who were alternates got word yesterday that they were selected. It's happening.

Interesting. I was originally a CSO select and got bumped to UPT the next day after our Feb 4 date.

I wonder if IPT has opened up some more slots that they need to fill, and grabbing some alternates was the easiest way for AFPC to accomplish that.

I just found out someone from my old squadron was notified today they were selected as an alternate. They mentioned other alternates were picked up too.

I was surprised. I was also thinking it doesn't normally happen this late.

Funny, I was an ABM select and got notified the 5th about an open CSO spot.

You were right! This goes against everything I’ve been told over the last couple years. But I’m stoked more people are getting the chance at their dream!

Yay Congrats !!

Question for the group though, do the people getting dates have their full medical ? I still have to go through Wright Patt, I wonder if that's the hold up for some of us who haven't gotten dates yet.
