As anyone in Congress should, each and every time. An oath of office comes with a higher standard of conduct in my opinion.

If only you were in charge, things would be much better... Well no I’ve never done any of the things on the list of things that Gaetz did, so yeah, I’m better than him. No one on that ethics panel is lying, they all know he did those things also. Along with everyone else in Washington. The only people that don’t believe it are the dumbasses having their opinions shaped by talking heads. And no, I don’t watch/listen to any of that shit.
lloyd christmas Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Didn’t he resign from congress? And he’s no longer the nominee for attorney general right? So, he’s now just another citizen? What is there to talk about?
Lawman Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Didn’t he resign from congress? And he’s no longer the nominee for attorney general right? So, he’s now just another citizen? What is there to talk about? He’s technically elected to the next session and publicly stated he won’t take his seat. The reason he won’t has nothing to do with him not wanting to continue in Congress, it’s because this report was going to be the prelude to his expulsion vote from Congress (which takes 2/3 majority). Again, none of the republicans on the ethics committee have come out to say the report is false or inflated, they just don’t like that it went public even though this guy is making comments about running for Senate now.The fact he’s leaving is a long term god send for republicans in Congress because they won’t have jackasses trying to defend him or “other side” this and keep him in Congress. Democrats would have gladly kept this spinning the same way they did with Santos where it’s admitted he has no business in the house but they keep just enough votes away to have him sit there and be a talking point come election time.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
