Trump nominated Matthew Lohmier to be the undersecretary of the Air Force. We’ve all sat around as CGOs and FGOs and talked about what we would do if we were in charge. Now we’ll get to see what that looks like with a retired major as the SECDEF and a former Lt Col as #2 in the Air Force.

A FAIP as SECAF.  Dear God…

And a member of the E4 mafia as vice president, I love it!

What's the over/under on Trump firing his first Cabinet position?  I'm going to set it at 6 months from their confirmation.

What's the over/under on a Trump nominee departing office on their own?  I'll set it at 6.9 months.

Turnover happens, but it seemed like it happened a whole lot more with Donno T.

The implication is that turnover is a bad thing.  He has to hire people for a job they've never done before.  Sometimes they work out, sometimes they don't.  Look at the rate of senior commanders fired in WWII and how well it worked out in the long run.

So you're equating working for Trump as going into battle in a world war?  Any other defending comments?

The implication is that Trump fired more Cabinet than his predecessors in modern times.  I'm sure someone can math it cause I'm lazy, but it was a lot.  So I'm going to set some odds.

I equated nothing.  I used WWII leadership as an example of how hard it is to hire people for jobs none of the applicants have done and that firing bad leaders may clear the path for good ones.  That does not imply that war and working for Trump are the same.  If you inferred that, then that speaks more to your presuppositions than my statement.

Elon Musk is a Nazi? I’ve seen this floating around our disgruntled leftist friends. I can see the left hasn’t learned anything from the November 2024 beating. Taking photos out of context to insinuate your opponents are Nazis is what drove millions of people away from the Democratic Party.

I was not a FAIP, but maybe you were/are.

We can pick this back up after the first firing and you can compare it to the firing of Patton, especially if there is a slap involved.

Beers!

What exactly do you have against people being fired if the boss doesn’t think they’re up to the task?

Against the people?  Nothing.  My post well above was about Trump and how he had a penchant for firing his Cabinet, so I placed odds.

Now ND is making it interesting, so I'll chat later.

I watched the video. Dude does it twice.

Unless there is some South African cultural connection to this gesture it really can't be explained away or dismissed.

In conjunction with the words, “my heart goes out to you,” he touches his heart and then gestures towards the crowd. He’s literally gesturing the associated words. Not that it should matter, but also the actual salute referenced never touches the torso at all, it’s simply just directly raising the arm out.

To draw this conclusion in reference to Elon is nothing but absurd retardation on display by leftist dipshits. Don’t get sucked into it.
