uhhello Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago According to U.S. Central Command; a Friendly-Fire Incident occurred earlier tonight over the Red Sea, with a U.S. Navy F/A-18F “Super Hornet” from the USS Harry S. Truman (CVN-75) being Accidentally Shot-Down by the Ticonderoga-Class Guided-Missile Cruiser, USS Gettysburg (CG-64). Both Pilots were able to Safely Eject over the Water, and have since been Rescued; with one of the Pilots suffering Minor Injuries.
brabus Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Holy shit, glad they got out OK. The Admiral is going to have some butts, and a lot of them. 1 2

Lord Ratner Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago (edited) So many questions. Were they able to get visual on the missile? Did they just eject when they heard the warning, in an time that they had no expectation taking fire? Did the missile ship broadcast to bail out over guard? 😂🤣 Edited 5 hours ago by Lord Ratner
yellerfever Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Is the NFO angrier about getting shot down or being called a “pilot”??
