contraildash Posted February 2 Posted February 2 The ring camera video with the couple walking out is nightmare fuel. Glad they jumped back inside, bits of wreckage were flying around.Lots of terrible videos and photos out there, beware as you browse the web. And no I won’t post links. contraildash Posted February 2 Posted February 2 I would guess those planes have big bottles of O2 on board? Not really. The medical O2 tanks tend to be smaller than you think. The photos of the tanks found at the crash site show them to be small at best. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
BashiChuni Posted February 4 Posted February 4 seems like some spatial D type of event...takeoff right into the soup at 600'...initial turn to the right, but airplane goes left. unless it's some mechanical failure of the jet. be interesting to see the results of the investigation.

Lots of speculation but one camera view shows what could be sparks/flames trailing the airplane. I believe the weather was bad at the time so it could also be the collision lights reflecting off the fog? 1

Needs investigation.

I don't see how a lighting effect could do that, since light isn't affected by airspeed. That looks like a trail of flames. That was really the only two things I took away from the video: it looks like it's on fire, and holy shit that thing is going into the ground fast. Sad
disgruntledemployee Posted February 5 Posted February 5 I have a eerie suspicion on an engine issue and the wrong one got shut down, then loss of control.
HuggyU2 Posted February 6 Posted February 6 Not to worry... I'm sure that the usual YouTube channels are in high-gear solving the mystery before the NTSB. Make sure you subscribe. 1 5
