Looking for any insight as to how my odds are looking for Guard/Reserve pilot slots. I'm open to all aircraft, and really just want to be in a unit that I'd fit in with, and to possibly spend 20+ years there. I'm prior AF Active duty, and now in the Reserve as an E5. Here are my stats:

24 years old
PCSM: 78 (poor TBAS performance)
AFOQT Pilot: 99
Flight hours: 62, with PPL
GPA: 3.4
Letters of Rec from my O-4 flight commander from Active, O-5 flight commander from reserve, civilian flight instructor, and MSgt supervisor.

I can retake the TBAS in June and I know I can do better, although the stick and rudder control section were challenging for me due to the rudders being hypersensitive and the stick being quite the opposite. I think I did decent on the rest of the sections, but the combo stick and rudder part I know I did poorly on.

Just for fun, my hobbies include golf (6 handicap), jiu jitsu, watching football, baseball, UFC, skeet/trap shooting, fishing, and spending time away from my wife and 2 kids. Oh wait I mean spending time with them.

I appreciate all insight and feedback, even if it's just to tell me how bad I must've done on the TBAS.

nice humor man lol.

I am also an aspiring pilot in the process as well so take what I say with a grain of salt. For some reason people think that you can't prepare yourself for the test which I believe is truly false. Ive heard from many people that have successfully taken the TBAS that https://tbastestprep.com or really just some research on the test are ways to help you prepare for it. The link does cost some money to use, but it's an aid to help you become a professional military pilot.

ill leave it up to the real aviators to help you out from here. hope I could help and best of luck dude.🙂
