scoobs Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 If your an O-5 or an O-6 does that mean you will be in a command position like XO,CO?
scoobs Posted October 18, 2005 Author Posted October 18, 2005 Thanks I figured that but wasn't sure how many 0-5 or 0-6's there are. What if your at a flying unit?
Guest T38driver Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 There are just over 10,100 Lt Cols and 3,500 Cols. (Found on the AFPC website) At one time, in the sqdn I am in, we had 4 Lt Cols with about 40 total IPs. (Of course, Randolph is completly different)
scoobs Posted October 18, 2005 Author Posted October 18, 2005 Does anybody know how many flying units there are?

lloyd christmas Posted October 18, 2005 Posted October 18, 2005 Do you tie the rag on your head on the right side or left side?

Rocker Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 That's weird I came up with six...what question was your answer for Toro?

Scooter14 Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 Seven. It's always seven. Unless, of course, it's a leap year, then the answer might be six. Or B.
C17Driver Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 42. I think it's 42. So it could be B. [ 19. October 2005, 00:59: Message edited by: C17Driver ]

Guest IGB Posted October 19, 2005 Posted October 19, 2005 The answer is a "New Uniform" for any and all problems - per Pentagon Folks [ 19. October 2005, 10:24: Message edited by: IGB ]

Guest Rainman A-10 Posted October 24, 2005 Posted October 24, 2005 Typical ANG FW has about 10 Lt Col pilot positions and no limit on the number of Maj positions. A guy can make Maj in 8 years as long as he has SOS done. There is usually a line waiting to make Lt Col, which can be done in 12 years (O-6 in 15 years).
