Guest PhantomII Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 I was talking to somebody today about a funny video clip I saw on a website like ebaum's world or something and he asked if we could get in trouble for looking at that kinda stuff while in the VOQ's....is that the case? Would I get in trouble for going to a website like break.com or ebaum's world while here at Maxwell? I understand that if on a work computer you're not supposed to do that, but what about the computer in you own room? I know it's a bit off topic, but I wanted to show him some funny video clips and I didn't wanna get in trouble for something silly like that. [ 02. July 2006, 09:56: Message edited by: Toro ]
Guest Rainman A-10 Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Are you using a govt computer? How are you connecting to the internet?
brabus Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Don't worry about it...you're on your own computer outside of any specific govt intranet. I wouldn't bring your laptop to the flight room and hook it up and go wherever (b/c you'd be on an intranet), but in your room, it's fine. You can go to ebaums, porn, who gives a shit...just keep it off the intranet.
HerkDerka Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Classic! 4fan, that made my day. HD [ 26. June 2006, 11:36: Message edited by: HerkDerka ]
Guest PhantomII Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Porn? Actually I hadn't thought of that... Good idea though. Besides why would I care whether or not you folks knew if I was looking at porn or not. I'll admit to people I know in person. lol Just wondered how funny the Air Force was about sites (be they ebaumsworld or porn or whatever else) that wouldn't be considered "safe."
brabus Posted June 26, 2006 Posted June 26, 2006 Porn? Actually I hadn't thought of that...Stuck at Maxwell and you hadn't thought of it...come on man, think we're stupid? :D

Don't worry...the Air Force isn't "funny" about mis-using computers at all. They NEVER send anyone to federal pound me in the ass prison for surfing porn on government computers. It's never happened. Probably never will.
Guest PhantomII Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Mine isn't government. It's just my own and happens to be hooked up to the service in the VOQ I'm in.
Guest samsdog Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Phantom II, Berg's reply = sarcasm, mockery, etc… Just an S.A. check for you. Have fun on those albino midget dwarf porn sites.
Guest PhantomII Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Yeah I figured he was kidding. Just clarifying I'm not using a gov't computer. For what it's worth this thread wasn't entirely for porn because I go to a lot of those other sites I mentioned quite frequently (can't get enough of the video clips on ebaum's world) and I download a music file or two now and again. Just don't wanna get myself in hot water early on in my career is all. Thanks for the info guys.
Guest jcam753 Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 2 to not worrying about it. The Air Force scares all the young guys with threats and then you realize that you really can do what you want. They have more important things to worry about than a Lt going to ebaumsworld or anything else in his own room. see ya!
Guest Xtndr50boom Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 ebaumsworld is for people who don't know any better. Try out crazyshit.com Do you see the light?
