I was just reading about Randy Haskin's experience in the fuge. What happens to the guys who can't take 9 G's? Do many guys have a serious problem with it?

For anyone intersted in seeing an over-G condition during landing on the prototype MD-80, I've posted this link.

The mishap aircraft was at Edwards on 02 May 1983 doing landing distance trials. The Captain let his approach get a bit unstabilized, and they hit the ground at 970 fpm. (Yes you're seeing what you think you're seeing. )
