WeatherManC130 Posted July 26, 2009 Posted July 26, 2009 I guess things changed when they started sending everyone to their UPT base for casual instead of multiple PCSing then. Thanks for the updated info! For me, I comissioned in late April, went active middle of May and went to my casual base for six months before I PCSd to Laughlin in December of the same year to start UPT. So for me I had a 7 month wait before my EAD and UPT. I really think its a shame the Air Force got rid of the casual status at other bases because it gives you a great opportunity to see the "Air Force" before going to a UPT base. Now granted I went to Maxwell for casual, but I had an awesome job working for the Wing King and got a great head start compared to my other bros sitting on their ass at Laughlin. My 2 cents. WxMan
