Chuck17 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Nice pics... The Packet (C-82) was a WW2 design. In the late 40's it was re-vamped with more powerful engines, made a little larger and showed up as the C-119 Flying Boxcar in time to serve in the Korean war. It was later retrofitted with 4x7.62 mm miniguns to make it the AC-119G which served in Vietnam. The AC-119K added 2x20mm cannons to supplement the miniguns (called the 'Stinger'). Pretty cool... like I said, one of my fav's. Chuck [ 29. January 2006, 13:37: Message edited by: ChuckFlys17s ]

LJDRVR Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 The control wheels may help narrow it down a bit...
Hacker Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 According to airliners.net, that's a Bristol 175 Britannia 312
Steve Davies Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 My guess would be the VC10 at Duxford IWM.
