Guest Boom2Pilot Posted December 18, 2004 Posted December 18, 2004 First, this is easily one of the best and most informative websites on pilot training and how to get there. Secondly, as my first posting, my question deals with the opportunities for ANG pilots to become instructor pilot's within the various SUPT bases. I'm aware of the reserves having that ability, but how about the guard?
PapaJu Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 Not that I'm aware of, though some ANG units do run RTU's for specific aircraft. Here's a list: https://globalsecurity.org/military/agency/usaf/ang-aetc.htm
Toro Posted December 19, 2004 Posted December 19, 2004 I don't know of any specifics, but I do know that it's possible. While I was at Columbus, there was an IP who had been farmed out by the New Orleans Guard unit.
scoobs Posted December 20, 2004 Posted December 20, 2004 Here is the website,I think that you have to transfer over to the reserve unit depending if you want full time or part time. https://www.afrc.af.mil/340ftg/
