Stiffler Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Is is possible to get on order for a bit and go to PIT as a Guardsman? Any UPT bases that do this? Just curious, thanks! Kinz
Scooter14 Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Enid's not that great. You're almost done, just let it go! It's possible, but I don't know how it works. Some of the guys said there's a T-38 guy, former A-10 driver from Maryland or something at Vance right now. Ask around over at the 25th, you may find out something.
Toro Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 I don't know the details of how it works, but while I was at Columbus as an instructor, there was an F-15 guy from the New Orleans Coonass Militia, and a F-16 guy from the SC Swamp Fox.

Toro Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 No, that's what they call themselves, he used the term all the time.
Guest JArcher00 Posted November 15, 2004 Posted November 15, 2004 Pab is right. There is an instructor from the Maryland A-10 unit instructing on the 38s. The catch is that his wife is an AD instructor in 37s and the only way they could be close was for him to sign a 3 year deal to be a 38 instructor. I believe the A-10 unit had to sign off on it since they are the one's paying him. If you are still at Vance, his wife is the only female Capt in "C" flight. She could probably get you in touch with him. Good luck.
