Guest hurtin Posted December 27, 2003 Posted December 27, 2003 What's the word on ulcers? I heard once that it was DQ. Any guidance?
Guest F16PilotMD Posted December 28, 2003 Posted December 28, 2003 Not necessarily... AFI48-123 says the following are DQ. A7.19.1.2. Peptic ulcer disease, active or refractory. A7.19.1.3. Peptic ulcer complicated by hemorrhage, obstruction or perforation. I you had an ulcer (diagnosed with xray or endoscopy) that was treated, you're okay. The real problem here is probably the medications you are on chronically for this (if any). Most require waiver.
